Calling all LEGO® Builders! We have started searching for our 2025 Mini Model Builders!
The epic building competition will begin online from October 18th to November 3rd. Competitors need to fill out the form below and attach a photo/video of their build. You can also share your build on social to get a chance to be featured on our Instagram and Facebook! The competition is for kids 5-12 and requires each to build something spaced-themed. A select few from the online competition will move on to our in-person building competition to be named as a Mini Model Builder!
Kids 5-12 can apply to be part of this exciting LEGO building competition by:
- Filling out the form below and attaching an image/video of their spaced-themed build
- Follow our social channels (Instagram - @legodiscoverycenter, Facebook - LEGO Discovery Center Washington DC) and tag us in their build for a chance to be featured!
- All entries must be able to attend and compete at the in-person competition held on November 9th from 12 PM - 2 PM

The winners of the in-person competition will win annual passes for them and their families (up to 6) to LEGO Discovery Center Washington, D.C. to enjoy one year of endless LEGO® fun!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
2025 Mini Model Builder
Eligibility 2025 Mini Model Builder Contest is open only to those who share a LEGO build on the LEGO Discovery Center Washington, D.C’s online form and who are ages 5-12 as of the date of entry. The in-person competition will require an additional LEGO build to be built onsite at LEGO Discovery Center Washington, D.C. The competition is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of LEGO® Discovery Centers and LEGOLAND® Discovery Centers, as final and binding as it relates to the content. The competition is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
Online competition Period: Entries will be accepted starting on or about October 18th and ending November 3rd. All online entries must be received by 11-03-2024 11:59PM EST.
How to Enter: The competition must be entered by submitting a LEGO build using the provided eligibility format listed above. The entry must fulfill all sweepstakes requirements in the requested format, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of LEGOLAND® Discovery Center & LEGO® Discovery Centers North America. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of LEGOLAND® Discovery Center & LEGO® Discovery Centers North America.
Prizes: LEGOLAND® Discovery Center & LEGO® Discovery Centers will select up to eight (8) LEGO Builds with its child builder to move on to the in-person building competition at LEGO Discovery Center Washington, D.C. on November 9th from 12 PM - 2 PM EST.
LEGOLAND® Discovery Center & LEGO® Discovery Centers will then select up to eight (8) LEGO Builds with its child builder to be one of the local Mini Master Model Builders. They will win an Annual Pass for themselves and their family (up to 6 total immediate family members).
The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor's discretion. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted. Travel and other expenses are not included with any of the winning prizes.
: The odds of winning depend on buildability, creativity, and originality and age of builder will also be considered. The final winner will be chosen by the LEGOLAND® Discovery Center & LEGO® Discovery Centers Team and North American Master Model Builders.
Winner selection and notification: Winners of the competition will be selected under the supervision of the Sponsor. Winners will be selected by the Sponsor and notified via direct message on the social media platform, email, or phone call on or before November 6, 2024 to move onto the in-person competition taking place November 9th from 12 - 2PM EST. LEGOLAND® Discovery Centers and LEGO® Discovery Centers shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winners' spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winners' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 5 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
The receipt by winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR'S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
